Legends of Lough Sheelin - Community Meeting

Join us in the museum to help us collect stories about Lough Sheelin - your personal stories, myths and legends, old traditions and any old maps or documents you might have relating to the lake. Tea and refreshments provided - all welcome! This project will tell the story of the Orwin and Sebana legend along with the lakes history through art, music and film. We would love to hear your stories about the lake and its history. Please bring any documents, maps, artifacts or historical information about Lough Sheelin. This project will be facilitated by artists Kim Gaffney Art and Colette Kearney, musician Barry O'Reilly and videographer Dimitry from Jago Studio . Funded through Creative Cavan.
